The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is likely to offer superior performance for intensive tasks like 3D work, machine learning, or gaming due to higher-end specifications. It may also have a better build quality and display but will probably be heavier and less portable than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15". The IdeaPad is likely more budget-friendly and could suffice for general use or lesser demanding tasks. It will be easier to carry but may not handle demanding applications as well. Consider the Zenbook Pro if top performance and build are priorities, and the IdeaPad if you need something more affordable and portable for everyday use. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is very good for general use, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is good.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is deemed very good for general use because of its powerful Intel i7 processor, ample 16GB of RAM, and high-quality OLED screen, but it's less portable and has a shorter battery life than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", which also offers good performance for general use with its AMD Ryzen 7 processor and satisfactory screen but compensates with better battery life and portability.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is better for gaming and 3D tasks because it has a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card and a high-resolution OLED display, which offer superior visual quality and performance compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", which comes with a less capable integrated Vega 8 graphics solution and a lower resolution IPS display. Both laptops have similar screen refresh rates, but the superior GPU and screen quality of the ASUS contribute to a better gaming and 3D experience.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X offers superior engineering and design capabilities due to its high-performance CPU and GPU, substantial memory, and excellent screen quality which are very important for such tasks, whereas the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" provides lower specs in these areas meaning it might not handle intensive tasks as smoothly. While the Lenovo is more portable and has a quieter operation which are somewhat important, these advantages don't compensate for its less powerful hardware and lower-quality screen, making it less suited for demanding engineering and design work.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X offers a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and brightness that make it excellent for general use and tasks requiring accurate color representation, like engineering and design work. However, its lower refresh rate makes it less suitable for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is crucial. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", with its adequate resolution and decent color production, is serviceable for everyday tasks and some design work, but like the Zenbook, it falls short for gaming due to a lower refresh rate and less impressive color coverage.

"The new Zenbook Pro 16X is more powerful, quieter and doesn't need to shy away from dedicated workstations and gamers. It is also comparatively compact, and our test device is the best Zenbook that we've reviewed so far. It seems equally suitable for content creators and gamers or anyone looking for a very powerful laptop that is still slim."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
