The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 is a higher-priced, performance-oriented laptop with a 4K touchscreen display, longer battery life, and is lighter and more portable, making it suitable for high-end tasks like design work and light to moderate gaming. However, it may not be ideal for heavy gaming. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", while more affordable and with a larger screen, offers lesser display quality, a shorter battery life, and heavier weight, making it better suited for everyday tasks and occasional entertainment. Choose the Zenbook Flip S13 for high mobility and performance needs, or the IdeaPad for budget-friendliness and basic usage. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 is good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 is preferred for engineering and design tasks due to its higher RAM, superior CPU, and more powerful integrated GPU that support complex computations, along with a high-resolution screen that offers crisp and more accurate color representation. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has lower RAM, a less powerful CPU, and a GPU that may struggle with engineering software, paired with a lower resolution screen that doesn't offer the same level of detail and color accuracy for design work.

The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
When selecting a laptop for general use, the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13's superior resolution and brightness make its screen more vivid and easier to view in various lighting conditions compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", which offers adequate but less impressive visuals. For engineering and design work where color precision is critical, the Zenbook's wider color gamuts ensure more accurate color representation, an area where the IdeaPad's performance is satisfactory but not exceptional. However, for gaming and 3D applications that prioritize smooth motion, the IdeaPad and Zenbook both fall short due to their lower refresh rates, although their resolutions and panel types provide decent clarity and image quality.

On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has a larger screen with lower resolution which is fine for everyday tasks, along with a solid AMD Ryzen processor, and while it has less storage, it makes up for it with a full-sized keyboard and good heat management, though it is heavier and less portable.

How the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 Flip is an ultra-sleek 2-in-1 convertible. A gorgeous OLED screen and lightweight magnesium chassis make this convertible a traveller’s dream. Its SSD isn’t fast, but it won’t hold you back in everyday use. Its battery life also isn’t class leading, but it’s hardly off the pace. Overall, the Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED holds its head high in the premium convertible category and is a smaller alternative to the Spectre x360 13.5 and the Yoga 9i Gen 7."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
