The ASUS Zenbook 14X is more affordable and offers a lighter, more compact design for better portability. It features an OLED screen with higher resolution and better color coverage, which is great for general use and tasks requiring color accuracy. However, for high-end tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, the MSI Stealth GS66 has a more powerful CPU and GPU, making it better suited for those needs, but at a premium price. The MSI also supports hardware ray tracing and has higher screen refresh rates. Both have similar battery life and RAM, but the MSI is heavier and may be less suitable if you often carry your laptop around. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS66 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook 14X is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS66 offers a higher gaming and 3D performance mainly due to its superior Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, compared to the less powerful Nvidia MX550 GPU in the ASUS Zenbook 14X; additionally, the MSI laptop's significantly higher screen refresh rate of 360 enhances fluidity and responsiveness in fast-paced scenarios, which is more beneficial for gaming than the 90 refresh rate on the ASUS.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a high-resolution display that offers crisp and vivid images, which, along with its superior brightness, makes it ideal for general use and detailed engineering work with accurate color reproduction. However, the lower refresh rate may not be suitable for fast-paced 3D applications and gaming where smooth motion is crucial. Meanwhile, the MSI Stealth GS66, although providing a generally good visual experience for a variety of tasks, doesn't excel in any specific area due to its average capabilities across brightness, color range, and refresh rate.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
