If you prioritize a higher screen quality and a more lightweight design for general use, the ASUS Zenbook 14X might be a better option. It has an OLED display, which usually provides better color and contrast, and is lighter for easier portability. However, for gaming or tasks requiring a more powerful graphics card, like 3D rendering or machine learning, the MSI Bravo 15, featuring an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, would likely offer superior performance. The Bravo's larger screen and higher refresh rate can also be beneficial for gaming and video playback. Keep in mind that the MSI laptop is heavier, which may make it less convenient to carry around. Both laptops have similar storage and run Windows 11, but the Zenbook has more RAM, potentially offering smoother multitasking for engineering tasks. The Bravo 15 has a slightly longer battery life but lower portability scores overall. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | April 2022
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."

LaptopMedia

Nikolay Palaozov | July 2023
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
