The ASUS Zenbook 14X is more expensive and offers a higher-resolution OLED screen, better colour accuracy for tasks like photo editing, and more ports, including Thunderbolt. It's somewhat heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable than the LG Ultra 13. The LG Ultra 13 is less expensive, lighter, and has longer battery life, ideal for on-the-go usage, but it has less storage and a lower resolution screen. Choose the ASUS for performance-heavy tasks like 3D rendering or photo editing, and the LG for general use with better portability and battery life. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the LG Ultra 13 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X's high resolution and brightness make it excellent for general use and detailed engineering work, while its wide color gamut ensures accurate color representation, crucial for design professionals. The LG Ultra 13 offers similar benefits on a slightly lesser scale, making it suitable for general and engineering tasks where precise color details are important, but with reduced clarity compared to the Zenbook. However, both laptops have screens with lower refresh rates, which means they are less ideal for gaming and 3D work, where smooth motion and quick screen updates are key for an optimal experience.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X and LG Ultra 13 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better GPU (Nvidia MX550) and a higher screen refresh rate, which enhances gaming and 3D performance, but its CPU and screen quality, though good, are not the main factors contributing to its gaming suitability. Conversely, the LG Ultra 13, with its integrated AMD Ryzen 7 4700U Vega 7 GPU, provides fair gaming performance with solid CPU capabilities and screen quality, but like the Zenbook, its gaming merit is mainly hindered by a modest GPU and limited refresh rate.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
