If you prioritize a lightweight and longer battery life for tasks like web browsing, office work, or media consumption, the LG Gram 16 is an excellent option as it is lighter and has a much longer battery life. However, if you need better graphics performance for activities such as casual gaming, photo editing, or other light creative work, the ASUS Zenbook 14X with its dedicated Nvidia graphics would be a better fit. It's also more suitable if you prefer a laptop with a more vivid OLED display but has a shorter battery life and is slightly heavier. Keep in mind that while the Zenbook is generally less expensive, it also offers less storage space out of the box compared to the LG Gram. Both laptops have a high-quality build and come with similar main processors and memory, making them capable of handling general use and multitasking efficiently. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the LG Gram 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the LG Gram 16 has a better screen for content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X likely offers a higher resolution and better brightness, which enhances visibility and clarity for general tasks and detailed engineering work; its superior color coverage benefits professional design applications by providing accurate color representation. The LG Gram 16's balanced screen attributes provide a competent visual experience for daily use and design-related tasks without specializing in any particular area. However, for gaming and 3D work, both laptops might fall short due to lower refresh rates, which are crucial for smooth motion rendering and fast-paced interactions, attributes generally prioritized in displays for these activities.

The LG Gram 16 and ASUS Zenbook 14X are both good for general use.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X is appreciated for general use due to its OLED display offering vibrant colors and high contrast, accompanied by a capable Intel i7 processor and discrete Nvidia graphics, but is slightly heavier and has a shorter battery life compared to the LG Gram 16. The LG Gram 16, on the other hand, offers excellent portability with its lightweight design and elongated battery life, and also has a robust Intel i7 processor with integrated Iris Xe graphics, although it has a lower storage capacity and uses an IPS display which is great but doesn't quite match OLED's quality.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the LG Gram 16 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
