The ASUS Zenbook 14X offers an OLED display, superior screen color accuracy, and higher portability due to its lighter weight, making it suitable for general use and good for travel. However, the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i boasts a more powerful RTX 4050 graphics card and a faster processor, which are preferable for 3D rendering, machine learning, engineering tasks, and gaming. The IdeaPad also has a slightly better battery life and a more robust cooling system, making it a better fit for intensive tasks, but it sacrifices some portability due to being heavier. Both laptops are similarly priced, so the decision should be based on whether screen quality and portability or performance for demanding applications is your priority. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i for general use, and engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i has a better screen for content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X offers high resolution and brightness, which enhances the viewing experience for everyday tasks and detail-oriented work like engineering and design, while its color accuracy supports professional color work. However, its lower refresh rate might not be ideal for fast-paced gaming or 3D applications that benefit from smoother motion. Conversely, the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i, while still providing a sharp and bright display for general use and decent color range for engineering and design, may not match the Zenbook in color accuracy but similarly struggles with gaming and 3D due to its refresh rate limitations.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"Lenovo’s IdeaPad Pro 5i represents an impressive opening salvo for Meteor Lake in the ultraportable space against familiar foes from AMD and Apple. Not only does the Core Ultra 5 125H processor provide good performance across the board, but battery life remains a strong point against the Acer Swift Edge 16 with its AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor. It can’t quite match the endurance of the 15-inch MacBook Pro, but the gap is shrinking."
