The ASUS Zenbook 14X offers premium features such as a higher resolution OLED screen, more storage, double the RAM, and a more powerful Intel i7 processor compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15", which has a lower resolution TN screen, less storage and RAM, and an Intel i3 processor. The Zenbook also includes a dedicated Nvidia MX550 graphics card, making it better suited for heavier graphics tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or video editing; the IdeaPad, with integrated Intel graphics, is more for basic tasks and not as graphics-intensive work. In terms of battery life and portability, the Zenbook has longer battery life and is lighter, enhancing its portability compared to the heavier IdeaPad. Although the IdeaPad is more budget-friendly, if performance in demanding tasks, a better display, and portability are important to you, the Zenbook is worth the extra cost. However, for general use such as web browsing, office work, and video streaming, and if budget is a constraint, the IdeaPad will suffice. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | April 2022
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | February 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is an enduring office notebook with a powerful Ryzen APU. Lenovo's office all-rounder easily handles office and internet applications as well as modest games - the Ryzen 5 5625U APU and 16 GB of RAM make this possible. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The emission values are okay, but the noise emissions should be lower under medium to full load. The relatively light notebook (approx. 1.6 kg) achieves practical battery runtimes of about 10 to 11 hours."
