If you prefer a laptop that is lightweight and offers higher performance for tasks like 3D modeling, machine learning, or gaming, the ASUS Zenbook 14X could serve you better. It typically has a premium build and better display quality, but it comes at a higher cost. On the other hand, if you want a balance between performance and value, and primarily intend to use the laptop for general activities like browsing, office applications, or streaming, the HP Pavilion 15 may be more suitable. It usually has a larger screen, but may have less impressive battery life and performance compared to the ASUS. Keep in mind, the HP Pavilion is often considered more budget-friendly, which could be a significant factor if cost is a primary concern. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the HP Pavilion 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X offers a high-resolution display with bright, vibrant colors ideal for daily tasks and professional design work, where color accuracy is crucial. However, its standard refresh rate is less suitable for 3D applications and gaming, which benefit from faster screen updates. In contrast, the HP Pavilion 15's lower-quality display results in less crisp and dimmer visuals, which can affect the viewing experience across all uses, and doesn't meet the standards required for precision tasks in engineering and design or the smoothness desired in gaming.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the HP Pavilion 15 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"The HP Pavilion 15 carries a fair amount of power and a sharp display in its handsome slimline shell. It's not perfect, but it's a hard worker. This is wonderfully designed and totes a heck of a lot of desktop power, with the added benefit of a decent webcam and a full-sized keyboard. If you're getting down to business on a budget, it's a great fit."
