The ASUS Zenbook 14X, being lighter and with a smaller screen size, is more portable than the Gigabyte A7 which offers a larger screen and is significantly heavier. The Zenbook's OLED panel and higher resolution contribute to sharper, more vibrant visuals, ideal for general use and media consumption, while the A7's larger IPS display with a higher refresh rate may better suit gaming and fast-paced content. Performance-wise, the A7's more powerful graphics card provides enhanced capabilities for 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive gaming compared to the Zenbook's lower-end GPU. Despite this, the Zenbook has a longer battery life, beneficial for extended use without charging, but sacrifices some performance and screen size in exchange. Consider the Zenbook if portability, display quality, and battery life are priorities, or the A7 for better gaming, engineering tasks, and a larger screen experience. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the Gigabyte A7 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the ASUS Zenbook 14X's superior panel type, resolution, and brightness provide a clearer and more vibrant display, enhancing everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. In engineering and design, its wider color gamuts ensure more accurate color representation, which is crucial for detailed graphics work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the Gigabyte A7's lower refresh rate, despite its adequate resolution and panel type, may lead to less fluid motion and responsiveness, which are critical in fast-paced visual environments.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Gigabyte A7 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"In terms of looks, the Gigabyte A7 X1 is certainly not a trendy, slim, and ultra-mobile gaming laptop. But it does what it's supposed to do, namely bringing games smoothly onto the screen, very well. Both the processor and the GeForce RTX 3070 are able to unleash their performance without restrictions thanks to the well-ventilated case. The Gigabyte A7 X1 brings modern games smoothly onto the screen and offers excellent maintenance options."
