If you prioritize a lightweight and stylish design for everyday tasks and travel, the ASUS Zenbook 14X is an excellent choice but it may lag in heavy tasks. The Eluktronics RP-15, on the other hand, is better suited for high-performance activities like gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, owing to its superior processing and graphics capabilities. However, it comes at the cost of being bulkier and having a shorter battery life compared to the Zenbook, which might be less convenient for on-the-go use. Consider your most common tasks and where you'll use the laptop most to help determine the best fit for your needs. Give Feedback

The Eluktronics RP-15 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook 14X is only fair.
The Eluktronics RP-15 boasts a higher-end Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a screen refresh rate of 165Hz, which are very important for gaming and 3D performance, thus making it better suited for these tasks compared to the ASUS Zenbook 14X, which has a less powerful Nvidia MX550 GPU and a lower refresh rate of 90Hz. While the ASUS has a good screen quality, these features of the Eluktronics contribute significantly to a smoother and more immersive gaming and 3D experience.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the Eluktronics RP-15 for general use, and engineering and design, while the Eluktronics RP-15 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X offers a high-resolution display with impressive brightness, making texts and images sharp and vivid for general tasks and detailed work in engineering and design due to its wide color gamut. However, its lower refresh rate limits the smoothness required for immersive gaming and 3D applications, which can be a drawback for gamers or professionals in animation. The Eluktronics RP-15, while also boasting a high-quality display with similar benefits for general use and color-critical work, faces the same limitation in refresh rate, making it less than ideal for fast-paced gaming or 3D modeling where fluid motion is key.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Eluktronics RP-15 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."
