If you're looking for a laptop at a lower price and primarily for general use, the Dell Inspiron may suit your needs, offering good battery life and a quiet, fanless operation, although it has less powerful graphics. However, if you're willing to invest more for a better display, improved general, 3D, and engineering performance, the Asus Zenbook is a sensible choice; just know it's heavier and has less battery life. Neither is ideal for intensive gaming, but the Zenbook's dedicated graphics give it an edge for light gaming and graphic-intensive tasks. Both feature similar storage and memory, but the Zenbook has a higher-quality build and a more vibrant OLED screen. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X boasts a higher resolution and brightness, making images crisper and easier to view in various lighting conditions, which is valuable for general use and detailed engineering tasks. It also offers a wider color gamut, ensuring that professionals who work with color-critical applications see more accurate representations. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rate on the Zenbook makes it less ideal, as these activities benefit from smoother motion that comes with higher refresh rates, which the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 also lacks.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"If the world is exciting enough right now, you can do far worse than a solid performer that you know will get the job done. Our review model is as powerful as you'd want an office machine to be unless you're performing specialist tasks and the price point is pretty attractive (unless work will let you have a MacBook Air instead)."
