The ASUS Zenbook 14X offers better performance for engineering tasks, 3D rendering, and machine learning, thanks to its more powerful processor and dedicated graphics unit. It also has a superior OLED screen with a higher resolution and better color accuracy, which is advantageous if you work with visual content or appreciate a crisp display. However, this comes at a higher price and slightly less battery life. The Dell Inspiron 15 3525 is more budget-friendly, has longer battery life, and includes a touchscreen. It’s a competent choice for general use but won’t match the Zenbook’s performance for demanding applications. The Inspiron also has a larger screen but at a lower resolution and less color accuracy. If portability is a concern, the Zenbook is lighter and thus easier to carry around. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X likely has a high-resolution display with excellent color accuracy and brightness, making it suitable for general use and detailed work required in engineering and design tasks. However, it may have a standard refresh rate which is less ideal for gaming and 3D applications where smoother motion is crucial. The Dell Inspiron 15 3525, with fair screen quality, probably offers a balance of resolution and brightness suited for general tasks, but its color gamut may not be wide enough for precision work in engineering and design, and similar to the ASUS, it may lack a high refresh rate needed for optimal gaming and 3D performance.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"Dell's Inspiron 15 (3525) is a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine, but it's not very ambitious; it does little to go beyond the basics. More the concern: It’s readily overshadowed by a number of machines that outperform and outclass it. Even if the Inspiron can get the job done today, its competition has the mettle to keep doing the job tomorrow in a way the Inspiron simply can’t promise. Many of its slightly higher-end rivals have to be on sale (and frequently are) to match it on price, but the Inspiron 15 (3525) is outclassed even by some similarly priced options, making it a difficult recommendation."
