The LG Ultra 16 and ASUS Zenbook 14 are both good for general use, though the LG Ultra 16 is somewhat better.
The ASUS Zenbook 14, while lightweight and portable, offers moderate battery life, a fair heat management system, and has less RAM and a lower-resolution screen compared to the LG Ultra 16, which provides extended battery life and excellent heat management with a silent operation, more RAM for multitasking and a larger, though less sharp, screen. Both will handle general tasks well, but the LG Ultra 16's higher RAM capacity and better battery performance will offer a smoother experience, especially for more intensive multitasking or longer use away from power outlets.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the LG Ultra 16 compare to other laptops
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
