When choosing between the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the HP Victus 15, consider that while the ASUS is significantly less expensive, the HP Victus 15 has a better graphics card which can be important for gaming or intensive graphics tasks. The ASUS Zenbook offers an OLED screen which typically provides better color and contrast, it is lighter and thus more portable. The HP Victus has a larger screen and higher refresh rate which is favorable for gaming. If long battery life is crucial, the ASUS Zenbook is likely a better pick. For general use with cost-saving in mind, the ASUS is a solid option, while the HP Victus suits those needing better gaming or performance capabilities but at a higher price. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14 has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The ASUS Zenbook 14's display, with its higher resolution and brightness, makes for a crisper and more vibrant viewing experience that's suitable for general tasks, as well as precise color work required in engineering and design. However, for gaming and 3D applications, its lower refresh rate can lead to less fluid motion compared to displays designed for these purposes. In contrast, the HP Victus 15's adequate resolution and brightness offer a decent experience for general use and some level of detail for design work, but again, its slower refresh rate hinders high-performance gaming and smooth 3D rendering.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the HP Victus 15 compare to other laptops
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
