The ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED offers a vibrant OLED display with a higher resolution and better color accuracy, making it ideal for creative work and entertainment. It also provides superior performance for engineering tasks with its Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and dedicated Intel Arc graphics. The laptop is slim and has a good port selection, including USB-C with charging capabilities. However, it's pricier and heavier than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3, which might affect your decision if budget and portability are your primary concerns.
On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is more budget-friendly and lighter, making it a better choice for general use and mobility. It has a touchscreen and a decent AMD Ryzen processor that can handle everyday tasks well. The battery life is also longer, which is beneficial for users who are often on the move. However, its performance is less suited for intensive tasks like gaming or engineering work due to its integrated Vega 6 graphics. The display, while not as impressive as the ASUS, is still satisfactory for general use.
In summary, choose the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED for its superior display and performance capabilities, especially if you're into creative work or need the extra power for demanding applications. Opt for the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 if you prioritize budget, battery life, and portability for everyday tasks. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
