The ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED offers a vibrant OLED display with superior color accuracy and contrast, making it ideal for media consumption and tasks that benefit from a high-quality screen. It's also more compact and lightweight, enhancing portability. However, its performance is more suited for general use and light engineering tasks, with a focus on battery efficiency rather than raw power. On the other hand, the HP Victus 15 is designed with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU, providing better performance for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks. It has a higher refresh rate screen, beneficial for smoother gameplay, and offers more physical connectivity options. The Victus is also slightly more future-proofed with Thunderbolt support and additional RAM and storage slots for upgrades. It's a bit heavier and bulkier, which might affect its portability, but it's still manageable for occasional transport. If you prioritize a stunning display and portability for everyday tasks, the ASUS is the way to go. But for more intensive graphical tasks and gaming, the HP Victus 15's superior performance capabilities make it the better choice. Give Feedback

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
