Let's consider your options based on the factors that are most important for laptop users: price, performance, battery life, portability, and use case suitability.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 12's lower price makes it an attractive option if you're budget-conscious. It's also more portable due to its smaller size, which is ideal for on-the-go use and for users who prioritize ease of transport over screen real estate.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5625, while generally more expensive, offers better performance for demanding tasks, such as intensive engineering work, 3D design, machine learning, or gaming. Additionally, a larger screen could mean a more enjoyable viewing and working experience, but it's important to balance that with the decrease in portability due to its size and likely heavier weight.
In summary, if cost savings and portability are your top priorities and your tasks are relatively lightweight, the ASUS might serve you well. However, if your work or entertainment requires a powerful machine and you're okay with something less portable, investing in the Dell Inspiron may pay off. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is only fair for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is not suitable for gaming and 3D tasks primarily because it has a basic Intel UHD Graphics 600 GPU and a lower-quality TN screen, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 fares better due to its more capable integrated AMD Ryzen Vega 8 graphics and a higher-resolution IPS display, which offer better gaming and visual performance.

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 12, with a less powerful Intel Celeron processor and basic Intel UHD Graphics, less RAM, and a lower quality TN screen, isn't as well-equipped for demanding engineering and design tasks as the Dell Inspiron 16 5625, which has a higher-end AMD Ryzen processor with better integrated graphics, more RAM, and a higher resolution IPS screen. While the ASUS is lighter and more portable, the Dell offers superior performance and screen quality, which are very important for such tasks but comes at the expense of greater weight and reduced portability.

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
If you prioritize screen clarity and vividness for browsing or document work, the Dell Inspiron's superior resolution and brightness will present a crisper and more vibrant display than the ASUS Vivobook Go. For tasks like engineering and design where color accuracy is crucial, the Dell's screen, while not exceptional, will represent colors with more precision essential for detailed work, compared to the ASUS which has limited color range. However, if you're into gaming or 3D modeling, the ASUS may fall short in smoothness and detail due to a lower refresh rate and resolution, while the Dell provides a fair experience, still lacking the ideal refresh rate for high-speed visuals.

"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
