If you are focused on saving money and need a basic laptop for simple tasks like browsing the internet or using word processors, the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is a sensible choice. However, if you require more power for tasks like photo editing, programming, or light gaming, and you don't mind spending more for higher performance and a better screen, the ASUS Zenbook 14X would be a superior option. The Zenbook 14X also offers a larger and higher-quality display, which can be beneficial if you work with visual content or prefer a bigger screen. Keep in mind that the Zenbook is heavier, which could affect portability, and the Vivobook will have more limitations due to its processor and smaller RAM. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 12 falls short in general use due to its limited memory, basic CPU, lower screen resolution, and poor ratings for its keyboard and speaker quality, though it offers excellent portability and long battery life. In contrast, the ASUS Zenbook 14X excels with its high-performance CPU, plentiful memory, superior OLED screen, and high ratings for keyboard and speaker quality, at the cost of slightly reduced battery life and portability.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X is only fair for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 12 has an entry-level CPU and integrated graphics, which are not suited for demanding tasks like gaming and 3D applications, while its screen, with a basic refresh rate and low resolution, also detracts from a high-quality visual experience. On the other hand, the ASUS Zenbook 14X has a more powerful CPU and a dedicated graphics card, improving performance in games and 3D tasks, and its higher screen refresh rate and superior OLED panel quality offer a more vibrant and fluid visual experience.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 12's screen may not offer the crispness or color depth needed for detailed work due to its lower resolution and limited color range, making it less suitable for general tasks as well as specialized engineering and design work. The ASUS Zenbook 14X, with its higher resolution and wider color gamut, provides a clear and vibrant display ideal for productivity and creative applications, although its lower refresh rate could limit the smoothness in fast-paced 3D tasks. For gaming and 3D, where fluid motion is critical, neither laptop may provide the optimal experience due to their screens not being designed with high refresh rates in mind.

"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
