If you prioritize affordability and a larger screen for multitasking or media consumption, the ASUS Vivobook 16X is a solid choice, just keep in mind that it might be heavier and bulkier, which impacts portability. On the other hand, the Lenovo ThinkPad X13, though more expensive, is likely to be more durable and have a better keyboard, making it a good option for heavy typing or business use; it's also more portable for on-the-go productivity, but the smaller screen might be less ideal for graphics-intensive tasks. How the ASUS Vivobook 16X and the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 compare to other laptops
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."
"The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 G4 has very good input devices, a wide array of security features and ports as well as 5G in the tested configuration. It is more compact and lightweight compared with its predecessor, and it has improved speakers and a slightly better webcam. On the other hand, the fan is more annoying and the performance is barely improved. The battery is worse as well, but this is primarily attributable to the OLED screen - if this aspect is important, buyers should choose the IPS Low Power LCD."
