The ASUS Vivobook 16X is generally less expensive than the Lenovo ThinkPad P16, which means you can save money while still getting a capable machine. If you are on a budget and need good performance for general use, 3D modeling, or engineering tasks, the Vivobook offers a solid balance with a good quality screen. However, if you prioritize top-of-the-line screen resolution, superior keyboard quality, a longer battery life for extended use without charging, and additional professional features, and are willing to invest more and handle a heavier device, the ThinkPad P16 is better suited for intensive work and professional environments. Keep in mind the ThinkPad is less portable due to its weight, which could be a drawback if you move around frequently. Give Feedback

Tech Critter

Kok Kee | February 2023
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | February 2023
"It's only a few months since we gave the MSI CreatorPro X17 one of our rare 4.5-star ratings and our top mobile workstation honor, but the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 1 matches that achievement in a more premium overall build. Ultimately, its build quality, screen, and keyboard give our latest Editors' Choice nod to the Lenovo—it's enough of a monster on almost all fronts that it simply cannot be ignored."
