Deciding on the ASUS Vivobook 16X or the Lenovo Legion 9i involves considering what you value most in a laptop. The ASUS Vivobook is more affordable, lighter, and offers a good balance for general use and moderate gaming, but it has a simpler IPS screen and less powerful hardware. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 9i is more costly, has a Mini LED screen with higher brightness and resolution, and features more robust hardware for intensive gaming and demanding tasks like 3D rendering and machine learning. However, it is heavier and thus less portable, and its battery life is shorter compared to the Vivobook. If portability and cost are critical for you, go with the Vivobook. If you need top-notch performance and a superior display, choose the Legion 9i, especially for high-end gaming or professional workloads. Give Feedback

Tech Critter

Kok Kee | February 2023
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | December 2023
"The Lenovo Legion 9i is meant as a top-end flagship showcase for enthusiasts, and on that, it delivers. You'll find flashier designs in this price tier—Razer’s all-metal build in a similarly sized laptop like the Blade 16, or monstrous 18-inch machines—but this is a well-thought-out laptop. The chassis is trim for a 16-inch powerhouse, the lid is unique, and bespoke liquid cooling takes performance to the next level."
