The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is more expensive but offers better performance for engineering and gaming with a more powerful processor and graphics card. This makes it well-suited for 3D rendering and machine learning tasks. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life when compared to the MSI Bravo 15. The MSI is lighter, less expensive, and has a longer battery life, making it more portable and budget-friendly, but it has less storage, a less powerful processor, and graphics card, which may not be ideal for intensive engineering tasks or high-end gaming. If high performance is a must and budget is less of a concern, the ASUS could be the better option, but if you prioritize portability and battery life with adequate performance for general use, the MSI might be the way to go. The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and MSI Bravo 15 are both good for general use, though the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is somewhat better.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 outshines the MSI Bravo 15 for general use primarily due to its more powerful Intel i7-12700H CPU and larger amount of RAM which facilitate smoother multitasking and faster performance. Additionally, while both laptops have similar IPS displays and resolutions, the ASUS offers greater portability with its longer battery life and slightly lighter build, making it more conducive for on-the-go usage compared to the MSI which has a smaller battery and is marginally heavier.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has a better screen than the MSI Bravo 15 for software development, and content creation.
For general use, both the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the MSI Bravo 15 provide displays with ample resolution and brightness, making text and images clear and vibrant, which is appreciated during everyday tasks. When it comes to engineering and design, their screens may fall short on color accuracy and range, as professionals in these fields require precise color reproduction that aligns with industry standards. For gaming and 3D applications, their refresh rates aren't high enough to deliver the smooth visuals dedicated gamers look for, and they lack the sharpness and panel technology that can bring out the best in fast-moving and complex visual content.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the MSI Bravo 15 compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
