For intensive tasks like engineering, gaming, or machine learning, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 with its powerful GPU will perform well, though it's heavier and larger, which impacts portability. On the other hand, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 offers a touchscreen with a higher resolution and a more portable design but costs more. Its GPU is slightly less powerful, which may affect high-end gaming or intensive 3D applications. If battery life and a sharp, high-quality display for design work are priorities, consider the Surface Laptop Studio 2. However, for better value, especially in gaming performance, the ASUS might be the better option. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | March 2022
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | March 2022
"The new Surface Laptop Studio with its foldable display is supposed to replace the old Surface Book and the overall impression is good after our review. The build quality and the materials are top-notch, the performance utilization of the two components is solid and the device does not show any major flaws in terms of display or speakers, either. The folding mechanism leaves a sold impression as well, but it remains to be seen how it will hold up over the years. The so-called presentation mode is also not ideal since it covers the whole keyboard."
