The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is typically less expensive and offers better performance for gaming, 3D work, and machine learning due to its higher-end GPU and processor, but it's heavier and has a bulkier design that's not as portable as the HP EliteBook 845 G9. The EliteBook is more suitable for business use, with a lighter, more portable design, and potentially superior build quality. Both laptops have similar storage and RAM, but the ASUS has a larger screen and battery, enhancing long-term use away from power outlets, while the HP provides more accurate colors and higher brightness for screen display, which can be better for professional creative work. How the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 and the HP EliteBook 845 G9 compare to other laptops
"The A16 makes an excellent case against more expensive laptops like the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and the MSI Katana GF76, especially if you’re into 1080p gaming. However, although its affordable, it doesn’t skimp on performance or a robust chassis. But for me, the biggest factor that sets it apart from these options is its incredible battery life. In my time reviewing laptops, I can’t remember when I last saw a gaming laptop lasted 11 and a half hours on a single charge, which makes the A16, in my book, truly outstanding."
"The high-end version of the HP EliteBook 845 G9 with a Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS, 32GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD packs a lot of power, but is still quiet and cool enough to operate in noise-sensitive environments. Quiet, cool and drawing on a massive 40 watts from the APU at the same time, however, is not possible. The 14-incher only has a single-fan solution and it only just manages to keep an near unthrottled Ryzen 9 in check."
