The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 offers higher performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive gaming with a better GPU and faster screen refresh rate, but it's heavier and larger, reducing its portability compared to the Dell Inspiron 16 5635. The Inspiron, while not as high-performing for demanding tasks, is lighter, more compact, and has a higher resolution display, making it better suited for general use and entertainment. The TUF's battery is bulkier yet lasts longer, whereas the Inspiron's battery is smaller and won't last as long. If price is a consideration, the Inspiron tends to be slightly cheaper and has more storage space right out of the box. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 is only fair.
The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 offers a robust gaming and 3D experience with a dedicated AMD RX 7600S GPU and a high screen refresh rate, enhancing the visual smoothness crucial for gaming. Conversely, the Dell Inspiron 16 5635, although having a higher screen resolution contributing to better screen quality, is equipped with an integrated AMD Ryzen 7 7730U Vega 8 GPU and a standard refresh rate, thus providing a fair gaming experience but with potentially less graphical fidelity and smoothness in fast-paced scenes.

The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
When considering laptops for general use, the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 has a superior panel type, higher resolution, and greater brightness than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635, offering crisper images and more vivid colors that enhance everyday computing tasks. For engineering and design work, the ASUS also takes the lead with a wider range of colors covered in its display, matching professional standards like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB more closely, which is crucial for accurate color representation. However, for gaming and 3D rendering, the ASUS falls short due to a lower refresh rate, which can lead to less smooth visuals in fast-paced scenes, making the Dell Inspiron, despite its fair screen quality, a potentially more responsive choice for those specific activities.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 compare to other laptops
"The A16 makes an excellent case against more expensive laptops like the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and the MSI Katana GF76, especially if you’re into 1080p gaming. However, although its affordable, it doesn’t skimp on performance or a robust chassis. But for me, the biggest factor that sets it apart from these options is its incredible battery life. In my time reviewing laptops, I can’t remember when I last saw a gaming laptop lasted 11 and a half hours on a single charge, which makes the A16, in my book, truly outstanding."
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
