When considering the ASUS TUF Dash 15 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15", think about what matters most for your usage. The ASUS TUF Dash 15 is known for a slim, light design which makes it more portable, though you might see a compromise on battery life due to the sleek form factor. The Lenovo Legion 5 15", while perhaps less portable due to its heavier build, often offers better performance suitable for more demanding tasks like gaming or heavy multitasking. If budget is a concern, the Lenovo may provide a better price-to-performance ratio, but if you're frequently on the move and need something easier to carry, the ASUS could be preferred. Keep in mind that the overall cost often reflects differences in build quality, specifications, and possibly screen features, so it's worth weighing these aspects against your specific needs and preferences. The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Dash 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The ASUS TUF Dash 15's screen offers vibrant colors and clarity which makes it suitable for general tasks and engineering design work where color accuracy is essential, but its lower refresh rate limits its appeal for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is key. Conversely, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" boasts a display with high brightness and sharpness that benefits everyday use and detailed design projects, but like the ASUS, it falls short for gaming due to a less than ideal refresh rate. Both laptops, while providing sufficient color gamut coverage for professional design work, may not satisfy gamers or 3D developers who prioritize fluid visuals over color precision.

How the ASUS TUF Dash 15 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The Asus TUF Dash F15 FX517ZR is a laptop with mobile RTX 3070 and acceptable battery life. The Asus TUF Dash F15 was made for high-performance applications like video editing, rendering, and gaming. The laptop can manage the latter in QHD resolution and at high to maximum settings. However, the focus isn't on maximum performance, but instead, it's about a compromise between performance and portability."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
