If performance in 3D rendering, machine learning, or engineering software is key and budget isn't your primary concern, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 with its more powerful CPU and GPU could serve you better. It also offers a higher refresh rate display, better color gamut, and more USB-C ports including Thunderbolt. However, the Lenovo LOQ 15, while somewhat less powerful, may suffice for general use and lighter 3D tasks, and it offers better battery life and slightly higher portability due to less weight. Neither are particularly light or have incredibly long battery lives, so if portability is vital, you may want to consider other models. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 boasts a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and brightness, making it ideal for general computing and visually demanding engineering tasks; however, its lower refresh rate limits its appeal for gaming and 3D applications where smoother motion is key. In contrast, the Lenovo LOQ 15 offers a good balance of resolution and color accuracy that satisfies general use and design needs, yet it similarly falls short for gaming due to a refresh rate that can't keep up with fast-paced visuals. Both laptops cater well to productivity and creative work, though neither is optimized for high-performance gaming where screen refresh rate significantly impacts the experience.

How the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and the Lenovo LOQ 15 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
