If portability is crucial for you, the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro is heavier and typically offers less battery life than the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16, making the ASUS a more travel-friendly option. The ASUS also has a slightly better display and higher performance potential for 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks due to its superior graphics card. However, if saving money is a priority, the Lenovo might appeal more as it is generally less expensive but has less storage capacity. Both laptops are quite capable for general use, gaming, and intensive tasks, but the ASUS might edge out in performance for specialized applications. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
"The midpriced Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 follows some of our favorite gaming machines, including last year's model and the higher-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 tested earlier this year. But pedigree doesn't count for much in the computer world, and gaming laptops require a certain level of power and graphics performance to justify their prices. The Pro 5i Gen 8 just doesn't do that, offering middling CPU and GPU performance rather than the sort of muscle that would make it a great value."
