The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16, with its high-end processor and advanced graphics card, is notably more expensive and shines in performance for 3D applications, machine learning, and gaming. However, it has a shorter battery life and is heavier, which may affect portability. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 is more affordable and offers a longer battery life and lighter design, enhancing its portability, but it does not perform as well in demanding tasks. Its processor and integrated graphics are adequate for general use and some engineering software but may fall short for intensive gaming and specialized applications. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 excels in gaming and 3D owing to its powerful Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU and high screen refresh rate of 240Hz, facilitating smoother visuals and better performance in demanding graphics tasks. In contrast, the Dell Inspiron 16 5635, while fair for light gaming and 3D, has a less capable integrated AMD Radeon Vega 8 GPU and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz, which means it won't handle intensive graphics as well but is more affordably priced.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
If you prioritize screen quality for a wide range of colors and sharp details for tasks like photo editing or engineering projects, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 offers superior display features that enhance color accuracy and resolution. However, for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is critical, its screen may not deliver the high refresh rates needed for an optimal experience. Meanwhile, the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 provides adequate screen performance for everyday activities and professional work, but it does not excel in any specific area, making it a more budget-friendly but less specialized option.

How the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
