For a balance of performance and portability, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" is a strong contender. It offers a robust gaming and engineering experience with its RTX 4060 GPU and Ryzen 7 processor, while being more compact and lighter than the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 X3D. The Asus, however, boasts top-tier gaming and engineering capabilities with its RTX 4090 and Ryzen 9 3D V-Cache CPU, making it ideal for intensive tasks, albeit at a higher price and with less battery life. The Asus also has a higher refresh rate screen, which is beneficial for fast-paced gaming, but this comes at the cost of portability due to its larger size and weight. If you prioritize the best performance for gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, and don't mind a bulkier device, the Asus is the way to go. But if you want a more versatile laptop that's easier to carry around without sacrificing too much performance, the Lenovo is the better choice. Give Feedback

"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
