The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is a high-performance laptop tailored for gaming and intense engineering tasks with a much higher price, featuring robust processing power, advanced graphics, a high refresh rate display, and substantial storage. Its battery life is average, and it's heavier, making it less portable. The HP 15" Laptop is more budget-friendly and suitable for general use with decent performance, but it isn't designed for demanding gaming or engineering software due to its basic processor and integrated graphics. It's lighter and thus more portable, but it offers less storage and has a lower quality display according to color coverage and refresh rates. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is good for general use, while the HP 15" Laptop is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is rated better for general use primarily due to its more powerful i9 CPU and greater RAM, which result in faster performance and the ability to handle more tasks at once, while its superior screen quality enhances the visual experience. The HP 15" Laptop, with a less powerful i3 CPU and less RAM struggles to match in performance and multitasking capabilities, though it may offer better portability and battery life due to its simpler hardware and lower power requirements.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the HP 15" Laptop for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a screen with vibrant colors and high resolution which are great for general tasks and detailed engineering work, but its lower refresh rate might not be ideal for the fast-paced visuals required in gaming and 3D applications. The HP 15" Laptop offers adequate resolution and decent color presentation for everyday general use and some engineering software, but may fall short for professional design where precise colors are critical. For gaming and 3D rendering, both the ASUS and the HP might not provide the super smooth visuals that come from higher refresh rates, making them less suitable for these specific needs.

"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."
