If performance during intensive gaming or engineering work is a priority and the higher cost is acceptable, the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 offers better specifications with a high-end graphics card. However, it's bulkier and less portable. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is less expensive, more lightweight, and offers a higher resolution screen which could be better for general use and some engineering applications, but it won't perform as well in gaming or demanding 3D tasks due to its integrated graphics. The Dell might also be quieter as it's noted for silent operation. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
