If you're seeking top-notch performance for gaming or demanding tasks like 3D rendering or machine learning, the ASUS ROG Strix could serve you well, despite being pricier and less portable. On the other hand, if mobility and a balance between performance and convenience are your priorities, the Razer Blade 15 offers a sleeker design and better portability, making it suitable for both work and moderate gaming, although it may not match the ASUS in raw power. Battery life typically favors more portable options, so the Razer could also edge out the ASUS if being away from a power source is common for you. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | March 2023
"With the ROG Strix G18, Asus has made an almost consistently good debut in the still quite new 18-inch laptop segment. The base unit case shows a few signs of weakness in the area of stability and is something which has an effect on the perceived quality of the input devices (the chassis tends to rattle a bit). Nevertheless, thanks to generous port features (incl. Thunderbolt 4), a striking design, and extensive lighting (keyboard, LED strip on the front), gamers get a fitting gaming platform."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | March 2022
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
