The ASUS ROG Strix G18 is a high-performance laptop suited for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D modeling, or engineering software; it will cost more and be heavier, which makes it less portable. The Packard Bell Cloudbook, on the other hand, is more affordable and lightweight, making it better for general use like browsing and document editing, with the tradeoff being slower performance on resource-heavy applications and potentially shorter battery life. Choose the ASUS for power-intensive activities or the Packard Bell for basic tasks and easier travel. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | March 2023
"With the ROG Strix G18, Asus has made an almost consistently good debut in the still quite new 18-inch laptop segment. The base unit case shows a few signs of weakness in the area of stability and is something which has an effect on the perceived quality of the input devices (the chassis tends to rattle a bit). Nevertheless, thanks to generous port features (incl. Thunderbolt 4), a striking design, and extensive lighting (keyboard, LED strip on the front), gamers get a fitting gaming platform."
