Choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix G18 and the MSI Raider GE76 typically depends on what you value more. If you're looking to save some money while still getting robust performance for gaming or intensive tasks, the ASUS might be appealing. However, the MSI, while more expensive, generally offers top-tier performance and features which may justify the cost if you're seeking a premium experience. Consider the heft of these devices if you plan to carry them around, as gaming laptops aren't known for their portability. Battery life in gaming laptops can be quite limited, so frequent access to power may be necessary. If your work involves heavy-duty software or gaming, the MSI could be worth the investment, but for more balanced use and savings, the ASUS may serve you well. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G18 (2024) and the MSI Raider GE76 compare to other laptops
"With the ROG Strix G18, Asus has made an almost consistently good debut in the still quite new 18-inch laptop segment. The base unit case shows a few signs of weakness in the area of stability and is something which has an effect on the perceived quality of the input devices (the chassis tends to rattle a bit). Nevertheless, thanks to generous port features (incl. Thunderbolt 4), a striking design, and extensive lighting (keyboard, LED strip on the front), gamers get a fitting gaming platform."
"The MSI Raider GE76: with Alder Lake and RTX 3080 Ti to gaming heaven. Yes, MSI could improve some aspects (like the quality of the webcam), but the manufacturer offers a very convincing and balanced overall package. The biggest advantage is definitely the immense performance potential. The combination of Core i9-12900HK, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 32 GB DDR5 RAM and two NVMe SSDs offers a lot of performance for the next couple of years and plenty of power for 3D applications. Most titles would run smoothly on an external 4K screen no matter the quality preset. We came away impressed with the integrated 360 Hz panel's fast response times and good color accuracy."
