In deciding between the ASUS ROG Strix G18 and the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15, consider that the G18, usually pricier, offers top-tier performance suitable for gaming and demanding applications, but it's larger and heavier, making it less portable. The Scar 15 is more budget-friendly and easier to carry around, but while still strong in performance, it may not match the G18 in handling the most intensive tasks. If portability and cost are priorities for you, go for the Scar 15; if maximum performance is crucial and you don't mind the extra spend and weight, opt for the G18. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G18 (2024) and the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 compare to other laptops
"With the ROG Strix G18, Asus has made an almost consistently good debut in the still quite new 18-inch laptop segment. The base unit case shows a few signs of weakness in the area of stability and is something which has an effect on the perceived quality of the input devices (the chassis tends to rattle a bit). Nevertheless, thanks to generous port features (incl. Thunderbolt 4), a striking design, and extensive lighting (keyboard, LED strip on the front), gamers get a fitting gaming platform."
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
