Choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the Gigabyte Aorus 7 depends on your priorities. The ASUS ROG Strix G17 is equipped with a more powerful processor, making it better suited for intensive engineering tasks and demanding gaming. However, it's heavier and has a larger footprint, detracting from its portability. Conversely, the Gigabyte Aorus 7 is generally less expensive and might be slightly more portable, yet it has a less powerful processor. For high refresh rates and gaming, the Aorus offers a higher screen refresh rate. Consider battery life as well, as it will impact your ability to use the laptop on the go. Choose the ASUS for maximum performance in demanding scenarios or the Gigabyte for better value and portability. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the Gigabyte Aorus 7 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 7 is a gaming laptop that is pitched at perhaps the hardest market to get right: the mid-range. So, unlike high-end gaming laptops that can throw the latest and greatest components together in a bid to attract gamers with plenty of money to spend, or budget gaming laptops that can make wise cuts that are justified as long as the price is low enough, mid-rangers like the Gigabyte Aorus 7 have to balance the two."
