The ASUS ROG Strix G17 offers a high refresh rate, larger screen, and a powerful processor and GPU combination, making it suitable for intensive gaming and demanding engineering tasks. However, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, which makes it less portable. On the other hand, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15, with its OLED touchscreen and higher battery life, is more suitable for general use and portability, with enough power for moderate 3D and machine learning work. It's lighter and offers a high-quality display for tasks involving color sensitivity but would be less ideal for gaming or extensive engineering software. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix G17 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 for gaming and AI, software development, and content creation.
If you prioritize a crisp and vibrant display for tasks like browsing and document editing, both the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 have high-resolution screens that deliver sharp images and bright colors. For engineering and design work where color accuracy is key, these laptops offer wide color gamuts, ensuring your projects have true-to-life hues. However, for fast-paced gaming or 3D rendering, the lower refresh rates on these screens may lead to less fluid motion, potentially making them less ideal for these particular activities.

How the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
"The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 offers a strong CPU, chassis, and display. One of the most popular 15.6-inch prosumer or multimedia laptops out there is the Dell XPS 15. Thus, comparisons between it and the Asus Zenbook Pro 15 are inevitable. Asus has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that XPS users are still missing out on including 1080p OLED and an AMD Ryzen CPU which help separate the Zenbook Pro 15 from the XPS 15. It also integrates a numpad and a few more port options albeit at the cost of a larger chassis size."
