Choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 depends on your priorities. If lighter weight and slightly longer battery life are important for you, the Zephyrus M16 is preferable, and it also has advantages like facial recognition and slightly better performance for engineering and machine learning tasks. However, the Strix G17 is better for gaming due to its hardware ray tracing and DLSS features. Both laptops have similar storage, RAM, screen size, and resolution, but the G17 is bulkier and heavier, making the M16 more portable. Both are suited for general use and intensive tasks, though neither is classified as a premium business laptop. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
