The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is generally less expensive and lighter, making it more portable, with a 16-inch display, suitable for everyday use and gaming. In contrast, the ASUS ROG Strix G17 has a larger 17.3-inch higher-resolution screen, better for detailed visuals and multitasking, but it's a bit heavier and slightly pricier. Both have powerful processors and graphics, ample for 3D applications, machine learning, and engineering software. If budget and portability are concerns, consider the G16, but if you prefer a larger display and can handle a little extra weight, the G17 may be the better choice. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G16 and the ASUS ROG Strix G17 compare to other laptops
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
