When deciding between the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the Lenovo ThinkPad T14, consider that the ASUS is tailored for gaming and high-performance tasks with better graphics capabilities, making it ideal for 3D work, machine learning, and gaming, but it's heavier and may have a shorter battery life. The ThinkPad T14, on the other hand, offers greater portability and typically longer battery life, making it suitable for business professionals and general use, with sufficient performance for everyday tasks and lighter engineering software, but it may not handle demanding games or intensive graphics tasks as well as the ASUS. NotebookCheck

Marius Schell | February 2021
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."

Benjamin Herzig | December 2023
"We like a lot about this laptop. It has many ports, with the inclusion of RJ45-Ethernet as a defining feature. WWAN is upgradable for maximum flexibility and the ThinkPad has many security functions. Working with the ThinkPad input devices is a lot of fun, and Lenovo puts in a serviceable Low Power panel. The AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 7840U delivers a great performance and does not drain the battery fast. Fan noise and temperatures are nothing special, but also far away from bad. With the user replaceable keyboard, the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 has a special feature rarely present on most modern laptops."
