The ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 are similar in price and offer a balance between performance and portability. The ASUS, with a Ryzen 9 processor and RTX 3050 Ti graphics, is well-suited for gaming and moderately intensive tasks, while the Lenovo, with its Ryzen 7 and RTX 3060, also delivers solid performance, potentially edging out the ASUS slightly in more graphics-intensive scenarios. The Legion's larger battery suggests better battery life, and it's also slightly lighter, enhancing its portability. Either laptop is capable of demanding tasks; the choice depends on whether you prioritize better graphics (Lenovo) or slightly better processing (ASUS), along with the tradeoff in battery life and weight. How the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
