If you're considering the ASUS ROG Strix G15 over the HP Victus 15 and willing to spend more, you'll get a laptop with better performance for intensive tasks like gaming or engineering, thanks to its higher-tier graphics card and processor. The ASUS also has double the storage space and RAM, which is great for multitasking and heavy workloads. However, it's slightly less portable due to its weight. The HP Victus 15 is less expensive and lighter, making it more portable, but it has less storage, less RAM, and a lower-grade processor and graphics card, which means it may not perform as well in demanding applications. Both have similar screen sizes and resolutions for your visual needs. If battery life is a concern, be aware that it can vary significantly based on usage, but both laptops have comparable battery capacities. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix G15 has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix G15 offers a great balance of resolution and brightness, making it a solid choice for everyday tasks and professional engineering work, but its lower refresh rate limits its potential for smooth gameplay in fast-paced 3D games. In comparison, the HP Victus 15 might provide adequate brightness and resolution for casual use and some design work, despite offering less optimal color coverage for more precise engineering and design tasks. Neither is ideally suited for high-end gaming or intense 3D applications due to their poorer refresh rates, which could detract from the immersive and fluid experience gamers often seek.

How the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the HP Victus 15 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
