The ASUS ROG Strix G15 offers strong performance for 3D rendering and engineering tasks with a dedicated gaming graphics card, yet it is larger, heavier, and has shorter battery life, making it less portable. The ASUS Zenbook 14X, on the other hand, is more suitable for general use with its lighter weight, making it more portable. It also offers better screen quality in terms of colors and brightness but comes with a less powerful graphics card, affecting performance in intensive tasks like gaming or advanced 3D projects. In summary, pick the ROG Strix G15 for performance-heavy tasks and the Zenbook 14X for portability and screen quality. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the ASUS ROG Strix G15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix G15 offers a vibrant display with high resolution and brightness making it suitable for general use and detailed engineering work due to accurate color representation; however, its lower refresh rate detracts from the fluid visuals demanded by gaming and 3D applications. The ASUS Zenbook 14X boasts an even sharper image and range of colors that cater well to professionals in engineering and design, backed by adequate brightness and resolution that also benefits general users. Unfortunately, like the G15, its refresh rate isn't optimal for the fast-paced action seen in gaming and 3D rendering, potentially leading to less smooth visual experiences in those use cases.

How the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the ASUS Zenbook 14X compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
