The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is pricier but excels in performance for 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks, with a high-end processor and a dedicated GPU suitable for gaming. It's also highly portable with a compact size, though it has a shorter battery life. The HP Dragonfly Pro 14 is less expensive and offers longer battery life, making it ideal for general use and business professionals who prioritize endurance and portability over raw power. It has a larger screen but less capability for intensive gaming or demanding applications. Both laptops have high-quality displays, touchscreen functionality, and a similar amount of RAM. How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"I’d say that the HP Dragonfly Pro checks off most of the boxes for this freelancer. It feels nice to use, is zippy and responsive, has great speakers, and even has a relatively sane price. Although it’s an unorthodox choice to pick AMD for this kind of machine, it’s clear that when Ryzen is given a chance to shine, it can kick a lot of butt."
