The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 17G for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
If you prioritize high resolution, vibrant colors, and bright displays for tasks like web browsing, video streaming, and document editing, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 outperforms due to its superior panel type and brightness. For engineering and design work where color accuracy is crucial for tasks like photo editing, CAD, and 3D modeling, the Flow Z13's wider color gamut offers an edge. However, for gaming and 3D applications where fluid motion is key, neither laptop excels as their refresh rates are not optimal for such high-paced environments, making them less suited for competitive gaming or intensive 3D simulations.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Gigabyte Aorus 17G compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."
