Selecting between the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 depends on your needs. The ASUS is pricier but offers superior graphics and processing power, making it ideal for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or engineering software; it's also highly portable due to its lightweight and smaller screen. The Dell, on the other hand, is more budget-friendly and has a larger screen, which can be better for general use and multitasking. While it has ample storage and a capable processor for everyday tasks, it won't match the ASUS's performance for demanding applications but offers a longer battery life which may benefit users who prioritize endurance over performance. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 outperforms the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 in gaming and 3D tasks primarily due to its superior Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate of 165Hz, compared to the Vega 8 graphics in the Inspiron and its lower 60Hz screen refresh rate. While both laptops have capable processors and quality IPS displays, these GPU and refresh rate differences are particularly crucial for gaming and 3D applications, where smooth visuals and fast rendering are very important.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 stands out with a sharp, bright display that brings texts and images to life with clarity, while the Dell Inspiron may offer a decent experience but isn't as vivid or sharp for casual browsing and video watching. In engineering and design, the ASUS offers wide color gamuts providing accurate colors that are essential for detailed and color-sensitive work, surpassing the Dell in professional creative tasks. However, for gaming and 3D applications, despite its high resolution, the ASUS's lower refresh rate means it can't display fast-moving visuals as smoothly as some might prefer for an immersive gaming experience.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
