The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is somewhat less expensive, more portable, and has a higher-quality touchscreen which is useful for general use and creative tasks. It also offers strong performance for 3D, machine learning, and general engineering, although not as high as the Strix G18. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Strix G18 tends to be more expensive and less portable due to its larger size and weight but offers superior performance especially for intensive gaming, engineering tasks, and 3D/machine learning applications. Its screen is not touch-enabled but is larger, which can be beneficial for immersive gaming and detailed work. Additionally, the Strix G18 has a longer battery life, making it better for extended use without charging. Choose the Flow Z13 for a balance of price, portability, and versatile use, or the Strix G18 for top-tier performance and longer usage away from power outlets. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | March 2022
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | March 2023
"With the ROG Strix G18, Asus has made an almost consistently good debut in the still quite new 18-inch laptop segment. The base unit case shows a few signs of weakness in the area of stability and is something which has an effect on the perceived quality of the input devices (the chassis tends to rattle a bit). Nevertheless, thanks to generous port features (incl. Thunderbolt 4), a striking design, and extensive lighting (keyboard, LED strip on the front), gamers get a fitting gaming platform."
