The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) excels in portability with a lighter and thinner design, offers better battery life, and operates silently, making it ideal for general use, especially for those on the go. On the other hand, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 provides stronger performance for intensive gaming, 3D modeling, and engineering software due to its powerful dedicated graphics card and larger screen with a higher refresh rate. However, it sacrifices portability and has a shorter battery life. Both have high-quality builds, but the MacBook Pro yields better screen resolution and color accuracy, important for creative work. Choose the MacBook Pro for portability and everyday tasks or the TUF Gaming F15 for performance-intensive applications and gaming. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is good.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) with its Apple M2 chip and integrated GPU handles engineering and design tasks well, offering a high-resolution and color-accurate screen; however, it has less RAM and storage compared to the ASUS TUF Gaming F15, which boasts a powerful Intel i7 processor, Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU for more demanding software, and a high refresh rate screen, favoring it for very heavy design work despite a lower resolution and color accuracy. While the MacBook excels in portability with its lighter weight and longer battery life, the ASUS's larger screen and additional RAM make it more suited for resource-intensive applications, with the tradeoff of being heavier and having a shorter battery duration.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 for general use, engineering and design, and software development.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 provides a high-resolution Retina display that ensures sharp text and images, coupled with impressive brightness levels, making it ideal for general use and design tasks where color accuracy is crucial. However, it generally has a standard refresh rate, which isn't optimal for 3D applications where fluid motion and quick screen responses are key. In contrast, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15, while offering good brightness and resolution for everyday tasks, lacks the advanced color gamut coverage required for high-level engineering and design work and also doesn't deliver the high refresh rates expected for a smooth 3D gaming experience.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
